The Media Club of Columbia is a professional organization located in Columbia, S.C. It serves the Midlands area as a place for those in communication professions to gather and share stories once a month. Media Club of Columbia was founded in the 1970s as a place where media and journalism professionals can network and communicate freely. The organization was founded on the principles of collegiality and the pursuit of inexpensive relaxation among our fellow media professionals. Our attractions include great food, the cheapest drinks in town, very short business meetings and modest dues. The true benefit of membership comes from the quality of the professionals with whom you may informally network and from whom you will surely draw professional inspiration. The club meets every third Thursday, at Richland Legion 6 Downstairs Bar/Lounge on Pickens @ Whaley in Columbia, SC between 5:30-7:30 pm. Drop in and meet us!
